Stump removal is labour intensive and requires skill and strength to complete correctly. In certain areas there are water mains/electrical cables/ pool pipes/irrigation pipes, new and old, which is under ground, We've come across manholes under stumps, pipes and cabling running through stumps and roots. We are however very cautious whilst removing tree stumps. With regards to stump removal, there is a huge difference with palm tree stumps and normal tree stumps. Therefore there are different techniques used for removing tree stumps. The objective is to remove the stumps to avoid growth or re-growth, so when we remove stumps, the roots remaining will decompose by themselves over a period of time. Palm tree stumps are very fibrous, so we remove the bulk of the stump debris, in some cases such as 1.2-2.4 meter stumps and leave the roots behind to decay and become compost. In some instances we have to remove some paving to gain access to the stump/stumps. It is then for the customer to arrange for a paving contractor to re-pave area.
